Jason's Beachside Grille photo
Paul Erickson: Exactly what I wanted. Outdoor deck seating with a view (though across a small parking lot) of Lake Tahoe. A great double 1/2 pound patty mushroom burger at sunset with a walk to the beach after dinner.

Z-coil Shoes photo
Paul Erickson: Bought some of these years ago for plantar fasciitis issues. Other than the questions people ask when they see you walking around on springy shoes, they are great. http://zcoil.com/technology...
Malcolm Lewis:
Interesting. How quickly did they fix your plantar fasciitis problem?

Paul Erickson:
It started getting better soon after wearing the shoes. Now I've got it in the other foot but haven't been resting it enough. And wearing regular tennis shoes without support just resets the issue it seems.

Rose & Crown English Pub photo
Paul Erickson: Hadn't been there in some time but had some huge Fish with my Chips and cider. Darts, etc. Enjoyed the pub feel and I'm not even English! No more than a fraction anyway.
Malcolm Lewis:
Oddly enough I only visited this place a couple of times in 10 years living in Palo Alto. The carpet is a bit sticky if I remember rightly ;)

The Last Airbender photo
Paul Erickson: Special effects were good but I kept seeing 'The Abyss' water effect. Story is more for kids with no blood in the battle scenes as a friend noted, but the good vs. bad was certainly there.

Cessna 172RG Cutlass photo
Paul Erickson: What I used to fly years ago!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
Retractable and:
"The Cutlass featured a variable pitch, constant speed propeller and more powerful Lycoming O-360-F1A6 engine of 180 horsepower (130 kW). The 172RG sold for about USD$19,000 more than the standard 172 of the same year and produced an optimal cruise speed of 140 knots (260 km/h), compared to 122 knots (226 km/h) for the contemporary 160 horsepower (120 kW) version.
Between 1980 and 1984 1177 RGs were built, with a small number following before production ceased in 1985.

Dr Sandra Shin photo
Paul Erickson: Sandra is great. She is patient and focused on your dental health, not up-selling services... Just looks out for her patients, of which I am one. And she has a great aquarium!
