Malcolm Lewis: Finally got around to watching this. We're reading the books and then watching the movies with the kids. I thought it was ok, the kids of course loved it. A great way to get them reading longer books.

Malcolm Lewis: Excellent kids movie and enjoyable for parents too. Not quite in the same league as Megamind or Despicable Me, but easily the best Disney animation I can recall.

Malcolm Lewis: Great movie. Fun for both kids and parents. Gorgeous animation and pleasant storyline. Steve Carell is the cherry on top of this excellent movie. Ideal for kids aged 5 thru 10.

Malcolm Lewis: We watched this last night with the kids (5 and 7). It didn't do much for me, but we rented it for the kids and they enjoyed it.

I agree with your rating on this. The kid (5) did enjoy it. I did like the fact that this show came out about 5 days after I visited the Amercican Museum of Natural History, very cool indeed!

Malcolm Lewis: We all enjoyed it, kids plus parents, but nothing will ever compare to the original Shrek, imho up there with Madagascar and Robots as the best animated kids movies of all time.
