Kidd Valley Burgers & Shakes photo
Malcolm Lewis: Decent burgers and shakes for the kids (and you too). Several locations in the Seattle area. We tried the Kirkland location which sits across the street from Lake Washington and a kid's park, increasing the kid-friendliness yet another notch.
Crossroads Bar & Grill photo
Malcolm Lewis: New location in Crossroads Mall where Chiles used to be. Not fine dining by any stretch, but great for family dining. I had the Cajun pasta and thought it was decent enough.
Malcolm Lewis:
Check their website for coupons. I just realized I could have saved $15 on dinner last night!

Applewood Pizza photo
Malcolm Lewis: This place has been around forever. Across the street from Keplers Books and Cafe Borone on El Camino. No-frills pizza in a rustic setting. Great selection of bottled German beers.

Pallino photo
Malcolm Lewis: They keep changing the menu, but the food is generally good and reasonably priced. Try the Fettucine Gorgonzola with chicken. Decadent. Good portions. Great gelato too.

Qdoba Mexican Grill photo
Malcolm Lewis: Yeah, it's a chain, but it's reliable and the food is good and inexpensive. More variety than the also-excellent Chipotle.
