The Melting Pot photo
Malcolm Lewis: Fondue restaurant chain. We tried the one in Bellevue. The fondue was great, the service was bad. Nice enough ambiance. Worth doing at least once. Fun for kids.

The Pumphouse Bar & Grill photo
Malcolm Lewis: Solid but not spectacular. Decent beer selection, good enough food and clean. Your basic sports bar.

Guido's Pizza photo
Malcolm Lewis: Excellent thin-crust pizza in Crossroads Mall across from the movie theater. They also serve Moretti La Rossa (http://www.fablistic.com/i/...), the king of Italian beers imo.

Tap House Grill photo
Malcolm Lewis: Huge selection of beers with 160 beers on tap! Good enough bar food to soak up the beer, but you go for the beer not the food. Pleasant ambiance and some outdoor seating for the couple of days a year when the sun shines.

Bel-red Vision Clinic photo
Malcolm Lewis: Excellent eye clinic in Bellevue. They use all the latest equipment to provide an incredibly thorough eye exam. Dr Donna Matney is great. Personable and gladly answers any and all questions.

El Comal photo
Malcolm Lewis: The food at this El Slavadorian restaurant place did nothing for me. Four of us ate there and everyone's dishes looked and tasted bland.

Tasty Thai photo
Malcolm Lewis: Recommended for cheap eats at lunch time. I usually have the Panang Beef. $8.95 and almost too much to eat.

India Gate photo
Malcolm Lewis: This place and Shalimar (http://www.fablistic.com/i/...) are the two best Indian restaurants in Bellevue, I think. But I'd love someone to prove me wrong!

El Gaucho Bellevue photo
Malcolm Lewis: We had a great Chateaubriand here, and overall it was a good experience, but I'm a bit surprised to see this place voted best restaurant on the Eastside. Overall, I thought the food, service and ambiance didn't quite match the high prices, and didn't quite compare to to Seattle benchmarks like Canlis (http://www.fablistic.com/ma...).

The restaurant is located in an office building and the interior felt a bit corporate to me.

Bottom line, good food, decent service and ambiance, but none of the above quite exceptional enough to justify the premium prices imo.

Malcolm Lewis: Superb French cakes, pastries and tarts. The individual lemon meringue tarts are superb.

Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar photo
Malcolm Lewis: Excellent upscale seafood restaurant. Sophisticated ambiance marred only by the occasional sales guy entertaining clients - loudly.
