Horrible Bosses photo
Kim LaFleur: Thoroughly entertaining. Could definitely be saved for a rental but the characters were clever and the story line funny.

The Help photo
Kim LaFleur: Great 1960's period story / movie. I really enjoyed the Mississippi scenery. Thought Bryce Dallas Howard (daughter of Ron Howard) who plays "Hilly" did and incredibly good job with her character. Felt it solidified her as a serious actress. Overall, great cast. Good story that can be shared with middle school & high school kids.

Kim LaFleur: Creepy and long. Definitely not a feel-good, inspirational movie.

Giada's Honey Ricotta Cheesecake photo
Kim LaFleur: This is a really easy and really wonderful cheesecake. The ricotta makes it lighter than an normal 'heavy' cheesecake and the honey and orange zest flavor really pulls through. I can't stress enough the importance of letting it chill in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours and even better 24 hours. The flavors really start to strengthen. I served it with berries after a wonderful Spring dinner. It was great! Perfect for guests.

Eat Pray Love photo
Kim LaFleur: Really like Julia Roberts and really didn't like this movie. Another one I waited for Netflix on but the storyline was all over the place and the character (played by Julia Roberts) was not interesting or even very likeable. The scenery in this movie was very enjoyable and the best part which likely kept me from turning the whole thing off. Can't recommend. Probably really going against by gender on this one.

An Education photo
Kim LaFleur: Great movie. Waited for Netflix but totally enjoyed it. Background is 1950's London and my first introduction to actress Carrie Mulligan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...) who I thought was brilliant.

The Fighter photo
Kim LaFleur: Great movie. Christian Bale really got into character (physically) for this role. Mark Wahlberg is great too. Well done. Entire story was interesting.

Aunt Mary's Cafe photo
Kim LaFleur: Saw this featured on Food Networks: "Diners, Drive-in's, & Dives". If I get up to Oakland, CA for a day--- must try: Pain Perdue & The Southern "Bubble & Squeak". (Note to self: Bring friends so I can try something off their plate too.) ;-)

Infusion Restaurant & Martini Bar photo
Kim LaFleur: Met at Infusion in Ladera Ranch, CA for a business lunch. Ordered the "Infusion Row" salad and I did not enjoy it at all. The ingredients didn't seem fresh at all. It appeared that someone attempted to put the salad together to be visually appealing, but it was not at all enjoyable. My second issue was that the service was sub par. Drink glasses would remain empty until we flagged down someone to refill them and the restaurant wasn't even full. Disappointing.

Linea Pelle Handbags photo
Kim LaFleur: Linea Pelle is a family run business. Mira, the designer, creates the most high quality purses, handbags, clutches, and wallets. They also create Men's and Women's belts. The quality workmanship of these handbags is amazing. They are made with rich, soft leather and well stitched and lined. Truly a quality product that will stand up to use and look fabulous. The website images don't do these handbags justice. Up close they are stunning. When you sign up for the opt-in mailing list you receive really great offers for 20% OFF and occasionally they give away a free wallet with a purse purchase.

The King's Speech photo
Kim LaFleur: I had already heard (about 1 million times...) that "The King's Speech" was a good movie. I agree. But I think the things that I liked most about it were: 1) A visual 'walk' into history and the portrayal of the time period as pictured through the set decor; and 2) Geoffrey Rush's character "Lionel". While I thought Colin Firth did a great job as did Helena Bonham-Carter... I enjoyed Geoffrey Rush's character more. Good movie. Highly recommended. Can't wait to see how it does at the Oscar's.
