      Malcolm Lewis: If you like police procedural novels, as I do, it's interesting to compare the styles of Michael Connelly (LA cop), Ian Rankin (Edinburgh cop) and Henning Mankell (Swedish cop). All three styles are similar in theme but quite different in execution.
