Graham King: A new release from my favorite brewery, I was pretty excited about this.

A 'Bavarian Dark Lager', it's dark, sparkling, and a sensible 5%.

In the end I was disappointed, too malty, always tasting like it was not cold enough, which usually means the flavor isn't that great. Maybe after a while in the freezer I would enjoy it.

Graham King: A good standby. If you're lucky you get to drink this at the airport, instead of Bud Light.

Fish Tale Blonde Ale photo
Graham King: Light golden ale. Fresh, clean, neither too sweet nor too dry, organic, 4%, what's not to like?!

Red Trolley Ale photo
Graham King: Officially an Irish style red ale, although I would call it a red French biere de garde. Decent caramel sweetness with a dryness on the finish, but little else, and a touch too much alcohol.

Feels quite Northern French in style, strong and sweet. If you like Biere de Garde, you'll love this.

Karl Strauss Brewing, San Diego, CA.

Eye Of The Hawk photo
Graham King: Decent Belgian style blonde / lager beer, let down by too much alcohol, 8% of it, which dominates. They should brew it again aiming for a lower ABV.

By Mendocino Brewing Company, California.
8% alcohol.

Graham King: Light, not much flavor, quite like tepid dish water. Nothing to write home about really.

Thwaite's Dark Mild photo
Graham King: Dark, slightly nutty flavor, almost like a watered down ruby porter. 3.2% alcohol, very easy drinking. Highly recommended, especially if you're planning on having a few.

Twice voted CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain.

Graham King: Dark, smooth, slightly hoppy, easy drinking real ale. I had it on tap at the Magda, in Hampstead, London.

Coreff Blonde Bio photo
Graham King: Organic northern French lager. 5% alcohol. No nonsense, clean light taste. A good everyday choice.

Ch'ti Blonde photo
Graham King: Northern French beer (Biere de Garde), 6.4% alcohol, silver medal at the 2010 Paris agricultural show. It should of been really good.

I found it too sweet on the tongue (has added glucose syrup), and a strong alcohol after-taste. Not my palette at all.

Graham King: Super cheap light watery French lager. Popular with teenagers, the unemployed, and punk bands. Only drink in a beer emergency.

Graham King: Perfect summer pilsner. The Beer Critic review (linked) describes it perfectly.

Russell Cream Ale photo
Graham King: Drinkable, but the nose is a bit off, metallic perhaps. Refreshing, smooth.

Note that I was drinking this in a glass whilst reading a beer magazines, so I might be being a bit harsh on it. In a bottle at the beach the nose wouldn't be noticeable.

Nelson Honey Lager photo
Graham King: Light amber ale. Can't taste the honey. Plus points for being local and organic, but minus points for the honey not really having anything to do with the flavor.

I wouldn't hunt it out, but if it was on tap I'd be happy to have it again.
Graham King:
On second tasting, I can smell the honey. Also, it seems 'honey lager' is more of a brewers term than a consumers term. So maybe 3.5.
