Carol Lewis: The owners are great. One is a Chef and the other is a Pastry Chef! They obtain foods for their menu that are sustainable grown and support local farmers - AWESOME! They have take over this restaurant for the past year now. The previous owners ran is for 10 years.

The Crumpet Shop photo
Carol Lewis: Love, love, love the Crumpet Shop. My fave is ricotta cheese with pesto and ham. Their ricotta cheese is the best I have ever had - it's really smooth. They also have a ricotta and jam - YUM! You won't regret going here.

Serious Pie photo
Carol Lewis: Seriously good! I did not want our pizza to end. The crust was fabulous - nice crunch on the outside and super soft on the inside. We had crimini mushroom, truffle cheese and added sweet fennel sausage...what tipped it for me was the fresh tarragon they put on it. I would go back there in a heart beat. It took us forever to get there because we have (up until now) felt that there was a lot of unnecessary hype behind Tom Douglas' restaurants.

The restaurant is quite small and the seating is communal. So if you go there with two you should be ok but our family of four had to wait a bit for a spot to open.

Their salad were very creative. Mine had pickled morel mushrooms, fava beans, red onion and egg. Their desserts looks fantastic but we already had plans to go somewhere else...we'll try they during our next visit.

Imperial Foot Massage photo
Carol Lewis: You will walk out of here feeling wonderful...all for about $25!!! It's a little different in that it's a room filled with about 12 big leather red chairs. These chairs are designed for these massages. You start off sitting on the ottoman with your feet soaking in a warm water bath while you get a neck, arm and back massage. THEN, you lay on your back in the reclined chair while you get a foot and leg massage. THEN (yes, there is more!) they fully recline the chair, flip you over and give your back and neck more attention! FANTASTIC!
Carol Lewis:
There is another foot massage place in Kirkland called Beijing Foot Massage - I didn't like it nearly as much as Imperial because in order to rub your back and neck the have you sit on the ottoman and lean forward onto some pillows - my neck was hurting more when I left then when I got there :(

Malcolm Lewis:
I need to do this with you sometime. My feet could use some TLC after a long run.

The Juicy Cafe photo
Carol Lewis: This place ROCKS! These two are my faves: #4 Eds Favorite - a smoothie made from Lime, Mango, Cucumber, Protein Powder, psyllium husk & flax ( I could swear the first time I had it there was spinach in it and I may request that next time I go) the other must order is "The Dirk" it's a combo of #2 Thai Curry and #3 Thai Peanut. It's hot brown rice with a large assortment of raw veggies on top and then atop the veg is hot chicken and the sauces. The heat of the other foods is enough to warm the veg but they are still crunchy and fresh - I am telling you...DELISH!

The Pink Door photo
Carol Lewis: In Pikes Place Market. It has no sign...just a pink door. Their patio is HUGE!!! The indoor portion of the restaurant is very big too. Looks like a fun place.
