Vibram Fivefingers BIKILA LS photo
Rajan Mohan: Third pair of Vibram Five Fingers. This time got the Bikila LS. The lace system (LS) is great for folks with high arches (me!). Wish they had a version for folks with Morton toe (elongated second toe).

Garmin Premium Heart Rate Monitor Strap photo
Malcolm Lewis: More comfortable to wear than the traditional chest strap but still works just as well. Amazon currently selling them for $42, which is a 40% discount to the $70 list price.
Run For Your Life: The History Of The New York City Marathon And The Inspirational Life Of Fred Lebow photo
Malcolm Lewis: Interesting story (for runners) of the founding of the New York City Marathon and the Romanian immigrant who made it happen. Currently available on Netflix Instant. It was sometimes hard for me to hear the dialog clearly.

West Lake Sammamish Run (13.1 Miles) photo
Malcolm Lewis: My standard 13.1 mile run. This out and back run starts and ends at the parking lot across the street from Vasa Park. West Lake can get somewhat busy but the running/bike path is very wide so you never feel threatened by the cars. Lovely, leafy run with many lake view along the way.

Mercer Island To Seward Park Run (13.1 Miles) photo
Malcolm Lewis: 13.1 mile out and back. Running over or next to Lake Washington all the way. Start at the parking lot at Top Park on Mercer. First 2 miles across the I-90 bridge, down the steps onto Lakeside, merge onto Lake Washington Blvd, then left into Seward Park. You could probably go all the way round Seward Park and make this a 15-16 mile run. You could also walk or bike some or all of this with you kids. Some nice real estate eye candy to look at along the way.

Pasta Carbonara photo
Malcolm Lewis: My wonderful wife makes this for me the night before my long run of the week. Tons of energy-boosting carbs and tastes sinfully good.

Ultramarathon Man photo
Malcolm Lewis: Documents the amazing story of Dean Karnaze's successful attempt to run 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 days. Remarkable accomplishment and well filmed. A must-see for runners.

Carol Lewis: This is a pretty nifty pouch. It expands pretty far and doesn't bounce when running with it on.
