Kim LaFleur:
Great book. I wish I had read it years ago. With the advent of the movie 'Julie & Julia', I guess the book had some renewed popularity and Amazon placed it on my Kindle recommended reads list. I think this book is not just for people with an interest in cooking and fine food, but for individuals looking for an aspiring story. Julia Child really began to pursue her love of cooking and food late in life (at nearly 40). She set forth an aggressive self-improvement plan and stuck to it. The book is about a female entrepreneur; world traveler; and overall people person. Highly recommmended read.

Excellent, unusual book that has elements of fantasy, mystery, mythology, and historical fiction all wrapped up in one. A completely engrossing tale that presents an alternate history of the world where magic is quite real, and how governments and people practically apply that magic. I loved the detailed footnotes that were stories in and of themselves. Fans of Neil Gaiman would love this book, as Mr Gaiman himself does :).
Ariele Adrianzen:
This book was amazing! I couldn't stop reading until I got To the end! I SOOOO wished I was Bella, until James tried to kill her. The book is way better than the movie, though the movie is awesome, because it has more details/scenes that the movie left out. After reading it I had to beg my grandma to buy the other three books!

I adored reading this book. A rich and engrossing tale of fantasy and adventure. I've gone back to re-read this many times. Not only that but its an encouragement to budding writers that everyone has a chance to strike it big with the right encouragement and support.

Book was a lot better than I thought. Watched the movie and it was awful. but the book was very descriptive and you could really feel the emotions.
