Carol Lewis: LOVE this stuff. Every night I put it on my face and each time can't help but say "Ahhhh". It feels so good going on! Has a mellow scent. I really like it!

Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain photo
Carol Lewis: At first I thought I'd like this - it goes on great and the color is really nice. However, it "bleeds" into lip lines and comes off patchy. Lip stain to me means that your entire lip will remain colored for an extended period of time. Not a good product for me.

Aveda Air Control Hair Spray photo
Carol Lewis: I was excited to buy this hair spray because it is a "net-zero impact on the Earth's climate". It's a light hold but really is almost...net-zero hold! To be considered a net-zero impact they have to have a bunch of air come out of the can with the hair spray. Consequently, the hair spray seems to go everywhere but your head. The hold is almost non-existent and you smell like you just came out of a hippie hut! Don't waste $24 bucks on this stuff!!

MAC Cosmetics Select Moisturecover photo
Carol Lewis: This concealer has great coverage. It covers darker spots, camouflages wrinkles and enlarged pores. Goes on great and blends nicely too.

Carol Lewis: This product is for unclogging pores. I has worked better than any mask I have ever tried. I highly recommend it.

Pureology Shampoo & Conditioner photo
Kim LaFleur: Pureology Shampoo & Conditioner is extremely pricey. Nano (reviewed here) being the most expensive. But if you're trying to strengthen and grow your hair, you really can't get a better product. Dry hair (for whatever the reason blow drying, sun, swimming, coloring, etc...) will benefit from this shampoo. Since the shampoo lathers really well, it's easy to make a bottle last 45-60 days.

E.l.f. photo
Kim LaFleur: The make-up gods have shown American women favor and have created a sophisticated mineral make-up line that costs mere cents rather than the hundreds of dollars that Lancome, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Bobby Brown, and Bare Essentuals, is extracting from us. e.l.f. which stands for "eyes lips face" provides simple mineral make-up between $1-5 dollars per item (including soft make-up brushes.) Alright, I'm going to be honest and say that I would not use e.l.f. for every single product, but they definitely have a competitive make-up line. This line was recommened to me by a former employee who happens to be a 20-something year old female and I can definitely see why it's such an attractive purchase. As a mother of a teenage daughter and another one in the making, I am grateful for e.l.f. as she practices with color palettes and manages a teenage budget! Not sure where else you can located their products, but they have started selling their product line at Target as well as online. Look for coupons!
Carol Lewis:
I hardly ever wear make-up so spending a lot of money on something that I will use 3 or 4 times in a year is silly...I am going to target to check this out! :)
