Malcolm Lewis: In my opinion, the best beach in Lake Tahoe. Actually several beaches in one. The smaller beach has a large, shallow bay that is perfect for paddling. Check out the photos on the main website. Plenty of parking, several bathrooms and a decent snack shop (Char Pit!) with burgers, sodas, shakes, ice cream and beer.

They have a Shakespeare Festival in the summer months, performed on an open-air stage with seating that overlooks the main bay.

Josh Goldman: Great, huge beach with soft white sand, nice waves, and allows well-behaved dogs off-leash to play in the water and sand. Wonderul... so big you can find your own little area no matter how big the crowds.

Margie Pijlman: City originated by artists, where creativity is abundant. When you stroll down the boardwalk even a local you feel like I am on vacation.
